I just got back from the new Julie/ Julia movie and really enjoyed it. Delightful, really. The movie has special significance to me as my grandfather lived next door to Julia Child in Montecito, CA. He would tell me how Julia and Paul Child were obviously so in love and how Paul would often be seen carrying Julia’s enormous handbag while standing a full foot shorter than she. If you haven’t seen the movie, you really should.
